Soon Ian and Jamie realised that she was pregnant, she had been feeling sick for sometime and eventually got a pregnancy test. It was positive. Ian was thrilled, he had always wanted a family, of course he loved Francis as a son but to have a child of his own flesh and blood was something different. Jamie didn't say much, she claimed that she was happy but any one except Ian could tell that she was lying.

As her stomach grew so did Francis, he was a very spirited toddler. He was up most hours of the day and was quite a task taking care of. But he was very loved, Jamie didn't spend much time with her son but when she held him in her arms there were no doubt about her love.
She said yes and left for work, Ian was happy because of her approval. But even Ian was starting to realise something in their relationship was wrong. She was never ever at home and more importantly since the night she moved in they have hardly touched each other.

A few weeks later the doorbell rang (Ian had built a house with the help of Derek) in the middle of the night. Ian opens the door and was amazed of what he saw. On his doorstep stood the beautiful girl from the library and in her arms she held a baby. He could see that her eyes were filled with tears.
The worst part of not having a house was, according to Ian, the total lack of privacy. Poor Ian had a problem with speaking to people and being in crowds. Now he had to shower in public. He hated it but had no choice. His work at the cemetery was hard and he got dirty and sweaty, the only possible option was going to the local gym for a shower.

The next day Ian went to the cemetery. He was determined to get a job, he was afraid of speaking to the cemetery boss but he preferred more than going on the dole. When Ian arrived at the cemetery his possible future boss didn't even say hello to Ian. Ian swallowed hard and then started talking:
Ian quickly found his favourite spot in the new town; the Library!
